Born to a life of learning and peace, Parashuram's world is shattered by the tyrannical rule of a ruthless king and the brutality of power unchecked. Armed with an axe gifted by the divine, he sets out on a path of vengeance that challenges the boundaries of dharma and the essence of justice.
As flames of conflict rise, Parashuram must navigate a world where the lines between protector and destroyer blur. From the blood-stained ashrams of his past to the battlegrounds of kings and demons, he grapples with questions of loyalty, sacrifice and the cost of upholding one's principles.
This graphic novel reimagines the legendary journey of Parashuram, delving into the heart of his rage and the purpose behind his battles. With stunning visuals and a gripping narrative, it is a saga of wrath, redemption and the timeless struggle to protect what is sacred.

Persons
Arnav Anand is the founder of Vrindkavi, an independent publishing studio creating graphic novels rooted in Indian mythology, folklore and history. His flagship work includes the Parashuram series of graphic novels, where ancient dilemmas collide with very human choices and consequences don't politely wait until the final page. Parashuram: Blood and Dharma received the Best Comics/Graphic Novel award at the FICCI Best Animated Frames Awards 2025. Arnav has an education in physics, which means he has a lifelong weakness for systems, patterns and the kind of 'why does this work?' curiosity that also fuels his storytelling. He is based in Delhi, India, and spends most days turning old stories into new panels, one scene, one beat and one stubborn draft at a time.
