Samarjeet Borah, PhD, is a Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Applications, SMIT, Sikkim Manipal University, India. Dr. Borah has carried out various funded projects from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Indian Department of Science & Technology-Cognitive Science Research Initiative (DST-CSRI), etc. He has organized workshops and conferences at national and international levels. Dr. Borah is involved with book volumes and journals of repute from Springer, IEEE, Inderscience, Apple Academic Press, and IGI Global as editor or guest editor. He is the editor-in-chief of the book and proceedings series Research Notes on Computing and Communication Sciences.
Lalit Garg, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Computer Information Systems at the University of Malta and an honorary Lecturer at the University of Liverpool, UK. He has also been a researcher at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Ulster University, UK. He has supervised over 200 master's dissertations and DBA and PhD theses. He has published over 150 papers as well as edited five books and holds 22 patents. He participates in many EU and locally funded projects, including a one-million-euro Erasmus+ Capacity-Building project in Higher Education (CBHE). The University of Malta awarded him the 2021-22 Research Excellence Award for his work on intelligent computing methods in healthcare, specifically forecasting, resource allocation, and management.
