Fostering Machine Learning and IoT for Blockchain Technology

Dr. Khaleel Ahmad iscurrently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science &Information Technology at Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. Hehas more than nine years of teaching and research experience. He worked as aVisiting SERB International Research Fellow in the Department of ComputerScience, University of Pisa, Italy, under the SERB International ResearchExperience (SIRE) Fellowship Programme funded by the Science and EngineeringResearch Board (SERB), Government of India for six months. He visited theNational Defence University of Malaysia, Malaysia, as a Visiting Faculty from26 December 2018 to 6 January 2019. He completed one Research Project of 01.05Lakh. He received a UGC-MANUU National Travel Grant in 2014. He has received thebest paper award at two conferences in Malaysia and India. He coordinated twoFaculty Development Programmes sponsored by DRDO and NITTTR, Bhopal. He hassupervised one Ph.D. student, 07 M.Tech. students, and several B. Techstudents, along with many MCA research projects. His research areas areBlockchain Technology, Cyber Security, Cryptography, and OpportunisticNetworks. He has filed two patents from Malaysia in collaboration with theNational Defence University of Malaysia. He has published more than 50 papersin refereed Journals and conferences (viz. Nature, Elsevier, ACM, IEEE, andSpringer) and 20 book chapters (Springer, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, IGIGlobal). He has edited four books published by Springer, Taylor & Francis,and Wiley. He has delivered lectures in India and abroad and chaired severalsessions at National and International conferences. He is a life member ofvarious international/national research societies viz. ISTE, CRSI, ISCA, IACSIT(Singapore), IAENG (Hong Kong), ISOC (USA). In addition, he is associated withmanyinternational research organizations as an editorial board member andreviewer.Prof. Uma N. Dulhare iscurrently working as a Professor and head of the Department of Computer Science& Artificial Intelligence, MuffaKham Jah College of Engineering, Hyderabad,India. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience. She received herPh.D. from Osmania University, Hyderabad Her research interests include DataMining, Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning, IoT, Cloud computing, andBiomedical Image Processing. She has published over 30 research papers inreputed National and international Journals & book chapters. Also, sheedited 3 books. She is a Member of the Computer Science Teachers Association(CSTA), USA, IEEE(SMC), ACM, Senior Member of the International Association ofEngineers (IAENG), Senior Member of Universal Association of Computer andElectronics Engineers (UACEE) LifeMember of ISTE. Dr. Mohammad "Sufian" Badar,Ph.D. has served as a Senior Teaching Faculty in the Department ofBioengineering at the University of California, Riverside, CA, USA. He servedas an Analytics Architect in CenturyLink for over a year in Denver, CO, USA.Currently, he has been serving as a senior faculty (temporary) in theDepartment of Computer Engineering at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. Hepossesses an excellent academic record with an MS degree in Molecular Scienceand Nanotechnology and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Louisiana Tech UniversityRuston, LA, USA, respectively. Before joining the Ph.D. program at LouisianaTech University, he graduated with an MSc in Bioinformatics from Jamia MilliaIslamia University, New Delhi, India. Dr. Sufian has over 14 years of teaching,research, and industry experience. He has published his research in conferencesand highly reputed International journals. He has authored many chapters in thearea of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and blockchain/IoT. Currently,he is Editing two books: 1. Diagnosis & Analysis of COVID-19 usingArtificial Intelligence and Machine Learning-based Techniques, 2. COVID-19:Cause, Transmission, Diagnosis, and Treatment. He has developed an algorithmfor Face Detection, Recognition, and Emotion Recognition. He is currently inthe process of developing a device that, using Biosensors, can correlate thephysiology of the human body with the emotion recognition algorithm, giving usa clear measure of the amount of stress hormones in the body. Currently, he andhis group have developed an ML model that predicts COVID-19 infection just fromthe patient's symptoms.Dr. Jameel Ahamed has donehis Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the National Institute of TechnologySrinagar, J&K (NIT Srinagar). He has completed a Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech.) from the Faculty of Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, anda Master of Technology (M.Tech.) from the National Institute of Technology,Srinagar, J&K (NIT Srinagar). Before joining the School of Technology,MANUU, Hyderabad, as an Assistant Professor, he worked as Guest Faculty in theDepartment of Electronics Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, U.P.for over a year. He coordinated two Faculty Development Programmes sponsored byDST and UGC. He also completed one Research Project of 01.05 Lakh. He has morethan 15 research publications to his credit and delivered many invited talks.He has visited countries like the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom forpaper presentations at conferences. He has supervised 07 Master of Technology(M.Tech.) and several Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) and MCA research projects.His researchareas include the Internet of Things, Computer Networks, MachineLearning, and Network Security.Prof. M A Rizvi (Dean) obtainedhis Doctorate in Computer Science from Maulana Azad National Institute ofTechnology (MANIT) Bhopal. Dr. Rizvi has also achieved a Master's degree inElectronics and a Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from Aligarh MuslimUniversity, Aligarh, and a Master's of Business Administration (MBA HR) fromBarkatullah University Bhopal. Dr. Rizvi has more than 29 years of experiencein the field of Computer Science and Applications as a faculty (Professor andDean) at the National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training and Research,Bhopal (NITTTR) a Govt. of India Institute. He has published approximately 140research papers in reputed International Journals and International Conferencesacross the globe. He has published three patents and two copyrights on facialRecognition Algorithms and Computer vision-based automatic attendancecalculation and updating systems. He has attended many International/ NationalConferences in India and abroad to present his research papers. He was invitedto many International conferences as a keynote speaker, session chair, andinvited talk. A book named "Computer and Communication a Practical Manual forInternet Café" for NCERT New Delhi India written by him is another feather tohis cap. He has authored 10 chapters in edited books published by internationalpublishers.
