Dr. Abd-Elsayed serves as the Medical Director of Pain Service at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI, USA. He is also a Professor at the Department of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Abd-Elsayed has published more than 430 peer-reviewed manuscripts, more than 200 book chapters, and edited more than 40 books. He serves on the Editorial Board of several high impact journals in the field of Pain Management, and he is the Editor-in-Chief for Pain Medicine case reports. He currently serves as a Director at large at NANS and on the leadership of other societies such as ASIPP and ASPN.
