Colours

This provides all the material needed to plan and carry out the important early years theme of colours. There are 48 pages of cross-curricular activities looking at colours in relation to people, animals, plants, food, outdoors and weather. Eight linking photocopiable sheets provide reinforcement activities and there is a chapter of ideas for display. There are a further 25 pages of photocopiable stories, poems, songs and assembly ideas all based on the theme. A topic web for planning links the activities to both the National Curriculum and the Scottish 5 - 14 Guidelines.
