Description
The dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) is a new type of solar cell which converts the visible light into electricity by using the photoelectrochemical system. It is based on the sensitization of the wide band gap semiconductors which is made up of a sandwich-liked structure that consists of a semiconductor formed between a photo-sensitized anode and an electrolyte. In this research, we focused on the TiO2 photoelectrode by evaluating the particle size of titania, determining the effects of molecular binder PEG towards TiO2 paste preparation, as well as the effects of natural dye by comparing the blueberry, gardenia blue and yellow and red yeast dye, and evaluating the effect of the multilayer of TiO2.
