Description
Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Reinforcement of Concrete Structures: Addressing Bond Failures provides a comprehensive, research-informed, and practice-oriented resource on the strengthening and durability of aging RC (Reinforcement of Concrete) structures using FRP. The book integrates the diverse aspects of FRP strengthening - from the micro-scale phenomena of bonding and material behavior to the macro-scale performance of structural members - into a coherent framework for both research and application in real-world situations.
By bridging theoretical foundations with practical implications, the book equips readers with the understanding needed to effectively design and implement FRP strengthening solutions, with an ultimate goal of ensuring the safe and durable extension of service life for aging infrastructure through the informed use of FRP technologies - grounded in both the latest research and proven engineering practice
