This book focuses on how to improve the quality management of official statistics in China. Official statistics help to build an overview of China's social and economic development and play an important role in policymaking for government as well as in decision-making for enterprises. Zeng Wuyi was born in Quanzhou, Fujian Province in January 1953. He is currently a distinguished professor of Jilin University of Finance and Economics and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. At present, his main social positions are: members of the National Consultative Committee of Statistical Experts, members of the Statistical Section Group of the National Social Science Fund, etc.
Main research direction: economic statistics. He has taught many courses such as Statistics. He has presided over and participated in more than 30 research projects, published more than 30 books and 150 papers. His teaching and scientific research achievements have won 49 awards from provincial and ministerial governments. Because of his outstanding achievements, he has been awarded special allowances by experts of the State Council and excellent teachers of statistics in China. He was selected as outstanding Chinese humanities and social scientist and outstanding Fujian people's teacher.
