Description
This serial, well-known and highly regarded in both academic and professional circles, is dedicated to the presentation of new developments in the field of computer science. Since its inception in 1960, "Advances in Computers" has taken an active part in the dramatic expansion and dynamic change in computers, and has been a leading publication in the field. The serial provides a medium for articles that are longer than many other journals Subjects are treated in greater depth and breadth, in spite of the ever changing nature of the field, many articles have become standard references and continue to be of significant value. The serial has been under the able guidance of just three editors since it began. Franz Alt was the initial editor in 1960 and he was soon joined by Morris Rubinoff in 1962. Since 1971, Marshall C. Yovits has been editing this work, and has been continuing philosophy and foresight that established this book.
