Group Mathematics Test Manual

This test is designed for use across the full ability range with children aged 6:4 to 8:3, and with less able pupils up to age 11:10. Parallel test forms A and B help to minimize the effect of copying in full classes and to allow subsequent retesting. The text focuses particularly on the basic arithmetical processes, including some orally-presented questions, making it easier to identify children whose maths ability is being underestimated because of reading difficulties. In this, the third edition, the item content of the test forms is unchanged, reflecting teaching in line with the National Curriculum Programmes of Study. The test materials comprise two forms, A and B, available in multiples of 20 each, and a manual, published separately.
