The childhood of Paula Yates - TV presenter, mother of three and wife of Bob Geldof - was a far from auspicious beginning. Her father, Jess Yates, who presented the popular religious programme "Stars on Sunday" became infamous when the "News of World" broke the story of his affair with a Miss World contestant. Her mother was a 6-foot tall Fellini starlet from Blackpool who too had numerous wild affairs. Their full and separate lives made it a lonely childhood for Paula.
