Dr. Haoqing Xu has been deeply involved in the teaching and research of environmental geotechnical engineering, with a particular focus on the engineering properties and service performance of barriers for landfills and urban industrially polluted sites, as well as solid waste treatment, disposal, and resource reuse. Since December 2018, he has served as an associate professor at the School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, where he also holds the position of Deputy Director of the Department. His research interests include Environmental Geotechnical Engineering, Marine Geotechnical Engineering, and Geotechnical Engineering Testing. Dr. Xu has published over 20 papers in leading scientific and technical journals, both domestic and international, including Environmental Geotechnics , Journal of Environmental Management , Environmental Science and Pollution Research , Materials Letters , Applied Clay Science , and Journal of Geotechnical Engineering .
