Evan Hopkins is an unremarkable man, except that he kills people for a living and he's very good at it. It's a life of secrets, subterfuge, multiple identities, the practice of exceptional skills and murder. It is a life conducted under the radar of the authorities around the world, until Monique Lagarde, a smart, tenacious and feisty Canadian intelligence officer investigating a two-decade long series of unusual murders, catches Evan's scent.
