Reviews / Votes
'In Rejoice! Chris Wright explores the theme of the coming of God throughout the Scriptures to illuminate the coming of Christ at Christmas and to raise our expectations of his coming in glory at the climax of history. What we discover along the way are not simply some lessons from the Bible story that apply to our lives, but that our lives only really make sense as part of the Bible story. Read this book and have your mind expanded and your heart warmed. Read it and rejoice!' -- Dr Tim Chester, pastor of Grace Church Boroughbridge, author and faculty member with Crosslands 'Written with deceptive simplicity, these devotions show the heart-rendingly beautiful character of a God who comes to his children - again and again and again. They show that Advent is not just for Christmas, but from before time and beyond it. These readings will draw you deeper into the Bible's big story so that your heart rejoices in a good God who comes to us and draws us close so that we can enjoy him forever.' -- Mark Ellis, Director of CU IrelandMore details
