Masks

Part of a series which provides an introduction for young people to the use of different art and craft media, this book concentrates on mask making. It uses step-by-step photographs to illustrate different methods and a presents a wide range of finished works. It takes us from the preparatory stages of producing masks to the range of effects that can be made including painted masks, balloon masks, cardboard box robot heads and shadow masks. The author has worked as a painter and puppeteer for the last thirty years and is a director of the Littel Angel Marionette Theatre in London.
