The Great War

"Legends are born on the Prairie; Heroes are forged on the Battlefield" In 1917, Thunder, a wild Kiger Mustang in Arizona, is captured by the US Army. After failing to break him, Thunder is shipped off to the trenches of the Great War in Europe to do labor work for the army. As the Allied forces make plans on an offensive to break the lines of the German forces, Thunder grows a bond with one particular soldier and a romantic bond with a British chestnut mare named Athena. As battle draws closer, Thunder will realize that there is more than just his freedom that is at stake if the Allies fail to push back the enemy.
