In 2019, he won the Fiction Express Award for his book Mystery at Moon Base One and in 2021 he won the Association for Science Education award for his non-fiction book Think Like a Scientist. His horror novel, Soul Shadows, was shortlisted for the Falkirk Red Book Award. He lives in North London, England.
