Allan Wolf is an award-winning children's and young adult novelist, poet, educator, and performer. His novel, told in verse, The Watch That Ends the Night: Voices from the Titanic, was named one of the 50 Best YA books of all time by Booklist. His New Found Land: Lewis and Clark's Voyage of Discovery was chosen as a School Library Journal Best Book, an ALA Best Book for Young Adults, and an IRA Children's Book Award Notable. Allan is former Educational Director for Poetry Alive!, a national touring company that presents theatrical poetry shows for all ages. He conducts more than one hundred presentations a year for schools, and when not on the road, he lives in Asheville, North Carolina.
