Joel D. Wisner is a professor of supply chain management at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from New Mexico State University, M.B.A from West Texas State University, and Ph.D. in supply chain management from Arizona State University. He holds certifications in transportation and logistics (CTL) and purchasing management (C.P.M.). Dr. Wisner's research interests include process assessment and improvement strategies along the supply chain. He has authored or coauthored over 100 articles, cases, conference presentations, and monographs.
