This book is part of a series of practical manuals on interventional radiology initiated by Professor Graham Whitehouse of the University of Liverpool. Each title covers the more common techniques, written in a didactic style with accompanying high quality illustrations. Rather than duplicate the larger, more general books on interventional radiology, the aim here is to give a personal view of how a number of experienced interventionalists approach each procedure, highlighting such aspects as choice of equipment, pitfalls, complications and trouble-shooting.
