Description
The Rules in Practice is essential for any competitive sailor.
Bryan Willis looks at key situations that repeatedly occur on the championship and club racecourse. Unlike other books on racing rules, Bryan looks at each situation from your viewpoint and places you in each of the boats involved, so you know your rights and obligations; what you may, must, or mustn't do, and shows the critical questions which will determine the 'facts found', should the incident end up in a protest room.
Armed with this knowledge you will not only avoid breaking rules and taking penalties, but you can exploit your rights to the full to gain places on the racecourse or present your case if there is a protest.
The Rules in Practice features a special analysis of the rule changes and contains the current ISAF Rules and Appendices in full.
Get ahead of the competition with this straight talking, practical guide to the racing rules.
