Description
'Walking the Dog' is the second collection of poetry by Joyce Williams. Published posthumously, her work is a sensitive exploration of landscapes, heritage and the nature of love. Her portrayal of Somerset and its local people are particularly authentic. This collection weaves together evocative language and a mastery of poetic form, creating a moving anthology of human experience. Joyce's poetry has won several awards, including The Watford Cup and The Sylvia George Memorial Trophy, Mid-Somerset Festival, 2009.
