Noel Williams is a licensed master electrician in Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming. He is International Code Council (ICC) and International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) certified as an electrical inspector and has supervised and managed electrical construction projects for over 20 years. For over 10 years he was chairman of the Electricians' Licensing Board for the state of Utah and is a former chairman of the National Electrical Code (R) (NEC (R)) Advisory Committee for the Utah Uniform Building Code Commission. Mr. Williams is a senior associate member of IAEI and has served as an officer of the Utah chapter of IAEI. Currently an electrical codes specialist, he also taught electrical apprentices at Salt Lake Community College for 6 years and has developed and taught electrical courses for electricians and inspectors for over 30 years. In addition to authoring and coauthoring three other NFPA publications-NEC Q & A, Limited Energy Systems, and 1999 NEC Changes-Mr. Williams was the lead technical developer of NFPA's NEC seminars and has served as a seminar instructor for over 20 years.
