Longman Gnvq Science: Foundation Level: Investigating Working in Science

The "Longman GNVQ Science" series provides full coverage of all the mandatory units required at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced levels. This is one of three vocational booklets which contain all the information required for the mandatory units at Foundation level. They also include case studies of science in use, activities and suggestions for end of element projects. To help students understand the issues covered and encourage them to develop their own investigations, an activity-led approach is adopted. Core skills have been integrated throughout the material: projects and assignments which encourage specific core skills are indicated in the student's material and are also discussed in the "Teacher's Guides".
