Description
When his parents were murdered, billionaire Bruce Wayne vowed to dedicate his life to avenging them. Now, he is Gotham City's greatest protector...he is the Batman. Early in his career, Batman is running dangerously close to exhaustion, leading him to make mistakes. But when he recruits a group of loners to help him investigate a mysterious gangland arms deal, is he putting innocents in the path of a deadly new villain in the city - the insane, ice-wielding Dr Victor Fries, aka Mr Freeze? Comics masters JH Williams III (Promethea, Desolation Jones), Dan Curtis Johnson (Chase) and brilliant artist Seth Fisher (Green Lantern: Willworld), who tragically died in 2006, present an inspired and beautifully drawn look at the Batman's early career!
