Michael Wilcockson studied Theology at Balliol College, Oxford. After completing his PGCE at Pembroke College, Cambridge he was appointed Head of Divinity at Aldenham School, then The Leys School, Cambridge and then Eton College. He has been Head of Philosophy at Eton since 2012. He was a Farmington Fellow at Harries Manchester College, Oxford in 2003 and Visiting Scholar at Pembroke College, Cambridge in 2010. He is the Test Coordinator for A Level Religious Studies for a large examination board, chief setter for Common Entrance Religious Studies for ISEB and the author of many textbooks for Common Entrance, GCSE and A Level. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors. Susan Grenfell started teaching in secondary schools and moved to working in Prep schools in the 1990s. She has a Bachelor of Education degree from Oxford and a diploma in Special Needs from Kingston. She was Head of Special needs at Caldicott School where she also taught RS at scholarship level. She developed a study skills programme there which has been widely used and she has given lectures in study skills to leavers at many Prep Schools. For ten years she was head of RS at St Hugh's School, Faringdon before retiring and taking up writing full time. She has spoken at teachers' conferences on teaching RS at Common Entrance and is a member of the SACRE in Oxford, where she lives with her husband. She is a governor of a local Primary School.
