Description
What does it mean to make participatory documentary today? How are established patterns of production broken up to make documentary subjects and audiences into active agents? And how can 'the digital moment' in documentary be designed to enable participants to take action - virtually on-line and tangibly on-ground?
Taking the paradigms of open space documentary, polyphony and networked|networking, "The Quipu Project", a multi-platform documentary, serves as a test stone to fathom the transformative potential of emerging documentary practices and to discuss current mutations in documentary.
