Description
This is the first of two volumes which together set out to cover the Electrical Principles syllabuses for the City & Guilds 200/231 (500 Series) Craft Studies Courses in engineering. The present volume covers all the work required for Part 1 of this course, and will also meet the requirements of Part 1 of the Electrical Craft Practice Course 181(347), the Electricians A Certificate 185(51A), and the first year of the Electricians B Certificate Course 231(51B). Theories are explained with the aid of fully worked examples and there are more than 300 graded exercises for which numerical answers are provided. It should also prove useful as a first course in self study for practising and would-be tradesmen in electrical and allied crafts.
