Rachel's Book

When Edward Booth-Clibborn invited artist Rachel Whiteread to create a book, she chose a subject close to all of us: home. The artist who created "House" - a concrete cast of the interior of an entire Victorian East London home, which attracted heated debate and even question in Parliament - has assembled a personal and broad array of domestic references sourced over a number of years. Whiteread rarely leaves either the critic or the public untouched by her work and this book, created as a new artwork in its own right, is no exception.
