White, the author of the best-selling predecessor Apple Training Series: OS X Lion Support Essentials, has dedicated most of his life to mastering Apple technologies so he can share them with the world. He has worked his way through various technical roles for the University of Kentucky, finally becoming technology coordinator for the College of Communications. After college, Kevin used his technical and presentation skills to spread knowledge of all Apple products in venues ranging from small corporate groups to sold-out crowds at Macworld Expos. He has been an Apple Authorized Trainer since 2002, and has also been a Systems Engineer at Apple.
Gordon Davisson has spent over 20 years working with Apple hardware and software. Over the course of his career, he has owned an Apple reseller, designed and implemented networking solutions and taught multiple Macintosh and OSX classes, and acted as a consultant on Mac systems. Gordon is an Apple Certified System and Apple Certified. He also enjoys sharing his knowledge through various online forums and discussion boards and has contributed to or written several other books including Mac OS X Support Essentials v10.6 and OS X Lion Support Essentials Student Workbook.
