Board of Education, and 20th Century African American History for Kids. She is currently the nonfiction editor at Hugo-winning FIYAH Literary Magazine of Black Speculative Fiction. Before working in publishing, she worked as an ELA teacher and freelance writer for media such as Ebony, Paste Magazine, and Scriptlab.
