Description
A small seaside community begins to turn on itself when calamity strikes
Social worker Carrie Riccioni is recovering from a heart attack, in a holiday home by the sea in Norfolk.
Allowed only light walking on the beach to regain her strength, Carrie is mostly confined to the cottage and, somewhat bored, begins to take an interest in her neighbours.
Watching from the upstairs window, she soon realises the small community of Miller's Point is far from idyllic. There are tensions and strange goings-on.
But Carrie's curiosity doesn't go unnoticed. And not everyone is happy with her eyes on their affairs.
When someone goes missing, what prying Carrie has seen will become a matter of life and death.

Person
Mark West lives in Northamptonshire with his wife Alison and their son Matthew. By day he works as a finance manager but in his spare time enjoys reading, walking, watching films and playing Dudeball with his son. A voracious reader, he likes most genres but particularly enjoys thrillers, horror - especially the paperback originals from the 1970s and 80s - and biographies.
