Author
Heike Werntgen lives with her husband and daughter in Cologne,Germany.
Being an actress, a drama teacher and a director she loves telling stories for and with kids.
In 2014 she was asked to write a play for kindergarden about being a foreigner . Heike Werntgen´s play "Lady-of-Here and Lord-of-There" was meant to be shown 25 times but it has been on stage ever since.
This is Heike Werntgen´s first children´s book and she is happy to star her favourite animal: a penguin.
Alice Jago is a self-taught freelance illustrator who, after many childhood summers spent with her beloved Cornish grandparents, finally moved to Truro from Cambridge with her husband in 2015.
To date she has illustrated five children's picture books by self-published authors, including one of her own in 2016 titled "Merryn Mouse's Weather Tale".
