The Further Curriculum Bank Activities series provide a bank of practical and accessible ideas to support the primary curriculum. Each lesson plan targets a specific learning objective allowing activities to be incorporated into any scheme of work already in use. In addition, an overview grid in each book shows how the activities can be used alongside those in the original Curriculum Bank books to plan a more comprehensive scheme of work. "Further Curriculum Bank Writing Activities" provides lesson plans on imaginative writing, non-fiction writing and language study. Guidance is also provided to show how activities can be used within the structure of the Literacy Hour.
