Paul is the author of the Medieval History blog, which covers a range of topics from the history and folklore of the medieval period. He has always taken a keen interest in history, a passion that led him to participate in historical re-enactment during the 1990s and early 2000s.

Later in life, he had the opportunity to study history and religion with the Open University, taking courses in Religion, Classical Greece, and Roman history.
