Description
"Irene Watson has written a psychologically savvy memoir about her childhood in a two room shack in rural Canada with a controlling, demand-ing mother, an emotionally absent father, and the affect of the death of her infant brother before she was born. With insight and intelligence she takes the reader through her step by step experience of resistance and revelation at a 28-day therapeutic treatment center. Told with courage and candor in an intimate, alive voice she reveals her discovery of a Higher Power and a new pathway toward her marriage and emotional freedom."
