"This book discusses effects of aging, health risks, health promotion, and diseases affecting the aging population's specific to Japan. It has appropriate graphs illustrating the trends, associated disease processes, and specific disease trends in elderly. . This book could be used in a research setting. Its lack of discussion of global aging as a whole may limit the audience further. The discussion of genetics, while interesting, may tend to be too in depth for some student populations."
