Essentials of Research

Research in simple terms is the act of undertaking creative and systematic work for increasing the useful pool of knowledge. Research is the basic requirement of solving problems in the society and improving the life standard of people. In order to do good and effective research, the researcher needs to be well acquainted with understanding of the basic essentials of research.In view of these facts, we have tried to discuss the different concepts that form the basis of fundamental understanding of what research is up to and how it should be conducted. The book is divided into four units, viz. Introduction to Research, Literature in Research, Research Ethics and Intellectual Property, and Components of Research.
