Selected Topics on Crystal Growth

This book contains the lectures given at ISSCG14. The topics cover many branches of crystal growth, such as thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, kinetics, growth mechanisms of crystals, large scale bulk crystallization, fabrication of thin films, nanoscale microstructures and observation and characterization techniques. It is our intention to provide a comprehensive overview of crystal growth for graduate students and young scientists who are about to engage in the research on crystal growth, as well as experienced researchers who are interested in broadening their perspective of the crystal growth field and learning about new materials and techniques.
