A pioneer in microbial reclamation of chitin-containing fishery by-products, Dr. Wang's research has led to significant advancements in the production of bioactive compounds. A highly respected figure with multiple awards and honors, including the Outstanding Research Award from Taiwan Society for Agricultural Chemistry and Ministry of Science and Technology subsidies for distinguished talents, Dr. Wang has delivered over 20 invited lectures globally at prestigious conferences such as the Asia-Pacific Chitin and Chitosan Symp. and the International Chitin Chitosan Confer. He serves on the editorial boards of prominent journals including Springer's "Research on Chemical Intermediates" series and MDPI's "Polymers".
Dr. Masakazu Anpo is a renowned scholar and academic leader with extensive experience in interdisciplinary research and education. As a special honorary professor at Fuzhou University and Emeritus Professor at Osaka Metropolitan University, he has held prominent positions including the vice president of Osaka Metropolitan University. With over 950 scientific publications, Dr. Anpo is a pioneer in the field of heterogeneous photochemistry on solid surfaces, particularly semiconducting photocatalysts.
