Description
Is death the end, or only the beginning? Are heaven and hell real? Does it matter how you live your life?
After decades in federal law enforcement and counterintelligence, NCIS Special Agent Dan Lucas thought he'd left high-stakes confrontations behind. But when a deadly winter storm strands him in an airport with outspoken atheist professor Ben Chernick, Dan finds himself in a different kind of fight...one that could determine the course of a soul.
Their conversation quickly escalates into a gripping debate on Christian apologetics, the proof of the afterlife, and the very existence of heaven and hell. Dan draws on his investigative training to present compelling evidence from near-death experiences, life after death testimonies, and the eternal evidence found in both science and Scripture.
A battle of the minds through a night of peril leads to a final confrontation no one could have predicted. As hours pass, stories of betrayal, redemption, and spiritual awakening intertwine with grounded, logical defenses of the Christian faith. Each man must confront his own past and the possibility that death is not the end, but the doorway to something far greater. Whether you are a skeptic, a seeker, or a struggling believer, this story will challenge your assumptions, test your convictions, and leave you questioning:
Who will you believe?
With echoes of Lee Strobel's The Case for Christ, God's Not Dead, and J. Warner Wallace's Cold Case Christianity, Final Departure is a rare blend of inspirational fiction, thriller, suspense, mystery, faith-based investigation, and human drama. It is perfect for readers searching for answers, wrestling with doubt, or seeking the ultimate destination that lies beyond our final departure. This multiple award-winning novel will leave you questioning your assumptions and searching for the truth.
