Description
For this new edition there have been significant improvements, with a number of the existing chapters having been either updated or rewritten. In addition, three new chapters have been added. The revised and expanded text takes account of the changes that have occurred in the specialty over the last decade but the tradition of simplicity has been maintained. Initially conceived by Professor Walther, who used his lecture notes as a framework for the first edition, the book was subsequently updated by Professor Houston, who placed his own mark on this, now standard, work. In recognition of this contribution, the current editors have requested that the title now incorporate both names. Walther & Houston's Orthodontic Notes should continue to provide a straightforward theoretical base on which the undergraduate, postgraduate or general dental practitioner may build knowledge as they develop an interest in the specialty of orthodontics.
