Description
Collocations - häufige Wortkombinationen - sind der Schlüssel für eine flüssige und natürliche Ausdrucksweise. Using Collocations for Natural English hilft Lernenden dabei, die Wörter, die sie bereits kennen, richtig zu kombinieren und einzusetzen. Der Band ist in 24 Units und 6 Review-Units unterteilt. Die Collocations werden dabei immer anhand authentischer Beispiele vorgestellt und mit aufeinander aufbauenden Übungen trainiert. Diese Übungen basieren auf einer Vielzahl von Textsorten, wie z.B. E-Mails, Tweets, Briefe, Werbetexte und Zeitungsartikel. Umgangssprachlich verwendete Collocations und für formelle Anlässe passende Alternativen sind extra ausgewiesen. Die beiliegende Audio-CD enthält zahlreiche Hörbeispiele, die die wichtigsten Collocations in der gesprochenen Sprache präsentieren. Die Lösungen zu allen Übungen sowie ein Index befinden sich im Anhang.
