Description
Embrace the chaos of life with these hilariously cute embroidery patterns featuring your favorite critters-raccoons, possums, and other little guys who are also going through it.
This collection is for anyone who has ever said "it is what it is" while actively spiraling. Whether you're in the middle of crashing out or just need a moment for some self-care, you can stitch your very own critter with twenty highly relatable designs that perfectly capture your current mood. Fan favorites include "Panic at the Desk-o," "Persistent Possum," and several other designs that radiate the energy of opening an email and immediately needing to lie down.
With guidance from author Emily Wall of The Artful Possum, you'll get clear, encouraging instructions that are perfect for beginners, intermediates, and advanced embroiderers alike. Whether you're stitching calmly or aggressively stabbing the fabric to cope, these patterns promise a finished piece that's equal parts beautiful, hilarious, and just a little bit feral.
Patterns include:
Panic at the Desk-o (sent one email and need 3-5 business days to recover)
Persistent Possum (the horrors persist, but so do I)
Life is a Party... and I'm the PiA+/-ata (taking hits but still festive somehow)
I Need a Hedge-Hug (touch starved but spiky about it)
And many more tiny creatures that are hanging on by a decorative thread!

Person
Emily Wall started hand embroidery in 2021 and very quickly fell in love with how versatile and relaxing it was. She is entirely self-taught and loves that hand embroidery is something you can teach yourself at a pace that feels comfortable for you. She enjoys coming up with silly and fun designs with the aim of making people smile, and she is a firm advocate in the philosophy of "stitch what makes you happy." Whilst she mostly focuses on creating patterns and tutorials for fans to stitch, this is her first foray into book publishing.
