Goodith White has for the last twenty years worked in Italy, Finland, Singapore, Portugal and Ireland as a teacher and teacher trainer. For the last two years she has been teaching undergraduates and postgraduates on the MA TESOL course at the University of Stirling, Scotland.She is the author of Listening published by Oxford University Press.

The book is organized into twelve chapters:Chapter 1: Provides an overview of the theories underpinning learning and language learning with technology.Chapter 2: Considers how technology provides new environments for language use and how this changes both the ways in which we communicate with each other and the language that we use.
