Description
Ross McDonald, the award-winning illustrator and contributing artist for Vanity Fair and the highly successful designer James Victore (whose retrospective Abrams is publishing) have gotten together to create a parody with the classic kids book characters Dick & Jane, but are putting them into some rather twisted, dark and bawdy places. The images are perfectly rendered in warm, nostalgic shades and the tone of the text is sweet and simple, but the content is sex, drugs and violence.
