Description
In light of Catholic and Christian theological bioethics, and in dialogue with scientists and philosophers, the book studies the ethical issues raised by five areas of biotechnological development: global health, regenerative medicine, neuroscience, synthetic biology, and nanotechnology.
The book is divided in five chapters, one for each of the areas examined, plus an introduction and a conclusion. Each chapter begins with a case emblematic of the ethical situation that needs to be addressed.
