Catherine Veitch followed up her English degree with a primary teaching certificate, where she often used stories as the starting points for lessons. With a passion for educating children in a fun, inspiring way, and oodles of ideas, Catherine started life working in children's magazines as a writer before moving into book publishing as an editor/writer. She's now a freelance children's writer full time and writes early years fiction, non-fiction, puzzle, activity and phonics books, in addition to adapting classic tales. When she's not writing, you'll find Catherine on a yoga mat or heading off for an adventure along the coast.
Grace is an illustrator from the UK. For as long as she can remember, she's had a pencil or paintbrush in her hand, and with these tools has learnt to capture the worlds and characters that find themselves dancing through her imagination. She is never without a good book, and has loved reimagining some of her favourite literary characters whilst working with Sweet Cherry Publishing. She finds her inspiration in nature, old buildings, libraries and lemon cake.
