Analysis on Lie Groups

This book is about a new classification of connected Lie groups. This classification has three equivalent formulations and can be seen from three different points: algebraic, analytic and geometric. Most of the results presented here are new, and the full details have not appeared in print before. The book follows on the Varopoulos' earlier book and generalises many of the results therein.
