From her carefree Essex childhood through to hitting the big time in the nineties and beyond, here Denise shares her incredible story in her own words.

We all know Denise for her wit, humour and effortless style, but the whole picture has often been more
complicated. As a young woman she was plagued by self-doubt, and living her life in the public eye often took its toll.

But of course, there were the good times too. One of the original nineties 'ladettes', Denise was at the forefront of Cool Britannia. She has lived the life, learned the lessons, and Basildon to Broadway and back is a hell of a journey.
